Animated Kelp Forest

Kelp forest 2.0! Fully animated and customizable.

Simple Geometry Nodes interface is easy to customize. Kelp stems are animated with a wave modifier, leaves are animated directly with geometry nodes.

Includes two leaf varieties for different looks. 

Leaves are animated with a gentle twisting motion, this can be customized in the geometry nodes interface.

The stems are animated with a wave modifier to match the surrounding water. Also customizable.

Procedural kelp generator allows you to draw kelp in exactly the shapes you want! The water is animated with an ocean modifier to create dynamic lighting effects with the kelp.

The kelp is procedurally generated using geometry nodes, and can be customized with the Draw Curve tool.

Any shape drawn with Draw Curve tool will be instantly transformed into kelp! (See the linked video if you want to watch watch me using the tool, it is very simple to use.)

Includes a customizable Water Maker environment with six presets.

Versatile and realistic from any angle. Use for scenes set above and below water, or splitting the water line. Animated reflections on the water surface add fine detail and movement, perfect for viewing from below, without increasing vertex count.
